Rockets Bask in Opportunity to Launch as Suns Arrive
Back to Business. Launching Pad. Get the House on Fire.
It’s time to get back to business. The Rockets aim to prove Wednesday was just a small hiccup in the road. The Phoenix Suns arrive in town for a Friday night matchup. Houston should have no issues with Suns, unless they play down to their competition. Phoenix has young talent in Devon Booker and DeAndre Ayton, but as a team, they’re not a close to contending. The Rockets need to use this game as their launching pad to give them a boost for the rest of the regular season. Houston’s schedule is fairly easy in the remaining 14 games. Denver, meanwhile, has a brutal schedule. It took a Joker buzzer-beater to beat the Mavs in at home for the Nuggets. Houston still has a chance of grabbing the second seed. Look for the Rockets to play as a team tonight. Expect to see Danuel House Jr. begin to be reintegrated into the lineup. It’s always good when the House is on fire for the Rockets. It’s time to start warming him up.
